This year's Record Store Day continued the tradition of being a candyland for limited-edition LP collectors and also a clearinghouse for bands wanting to support the local vinyl economy while also monetizing the b-sides lining their vaults. Yeasayer seized the Day and "releas[ed] these two tracks to purge our brains and make way for new sounds/ideas" on a 7" they titled, tellingly, End Blood.
