I’m filing this entire album as something to blast at parties. Gets the blood pumping and the crowd jumping… Something like that. It’s fun, kind of catchy, and ridiculous so I don’t think it’s anything to bitch over but I don’t think it’s anything to praise.

It’s heavy, it’s dark, I like it. It is slightly less catchy than past songs but the sound is definitely more powerful. Hopefully this is good for the rest of the album and keeps us entertained.

If Blur is back, then hopefully Albarn is working on Gorillaz too :)

After I saw the Pitchfork Daytripping video of Wavves, I noticed there was something up with Nathan. He was definitely off-putting. This just proves that his personality really isn’t great. I think this happened because of 1. the ridiculous amount of hype the young man has suddenly received and 2. his attitude towards the “fame”. His attitude is the worst part though. Money doesn’t all of a sudden make you a jackass, that’s your fault. The way he acted was immature. He needs to grow up before even thinking of touring again.
PS I enjoyed the Wavves album. It was fun, but that’s pretty much it. It is entertaining and nice addition to my summer playlist but I would not say they are a great, or even a good, band. They’re decent. That’s just my take on their music, nothing to do with his actions really.

Well, that was an interesting video. The whole werewolf thing didn’t blow my mind like it maybe was intended to do. I just noticed that KO looks truly wicked and is sporting another epic outfit. Also, Brian Chase always looks like a badass in shades. The glitter-blood was nice i think.

Having a great band cover some of my favorite songs to dance to is heaven. Yeah, Weezer hasn’t been making fantastic music lately but people can’t just start defining and criticizing them by this cover. It just looks like a fun time, I’d be dancing right away.

She is rocking the American Apparel briefs… But anway, it is a fun video. Nudity is always light-hearted fun in my opinion haha. And the end was quite a surprise, pretty abrupt. I was not blown away by the video in general though. it was just another indie music video really. I don’t understand why people have to criticize how they (mostly kim) look though! Stop being pretentious, critical bastards and concentrate on the music! Jeez people. you’re all so shallow! If you don’t like the music, then why are you even commenting! If I don’t like a band I won’t even bother looking at the article. Grow up!

I am happy that they are using the faster version of “White Sky” definitely. And i am loving Discovery! Ra Ra and Vampire Weekend working together means good things. I hope the new VW album is good, i want something different but still perfectly pop and fun. I believe in them though!

wow, the crowd was loving it haha! i bet they appreciate a more into it crowd since they’ve been doing a lot of late night shows. plus KO looked like she was having a lot more fun :D yeah heads will roll wasn’t extremely talk show performance friendly but it worked.

Karen O was adorable on SNL last night, she was so smiley. They were really great, I can’t wait to see YYYs live soon. I wish I could come to the “secret” show…
