Crying Lightning is about a girl he’s trying to pick up who is being a bitch. Dance Little Liar describes perfectly a girl dancing around her lies.”And the clean coming will hurt
/And you can never get it spotless/When theres dirt beneth the dirt” Shall I go on? Mardy Bum perfectly captures a fight between lovers. The view from the afternoon captures drunk texting to the T “And you can pour your heart out/Around three o’ clock/When the two-for-ones undone the writer’s block ” i could keep going but redundancy is a motherfucker

rim really looking forward to this one

upon second viewing i noticed a few interesting things.

first when joanna takes off the kids MGMT headband all the monsters go away… well all the gross ones afterwards the monsters are all colorful

second i can’t really prove this but i think that the last cartoon portion could be a synopsis of the album oracular spectacular
-i draw this observation from the first image of the woman who reminds me of the girl they sing to on electric feel she was what looks like electricity streaming from her hair.
– that one is the most obvious but a case can be made for alot of the songs from the album
