Ya, it’s some audio-NyQuil, post-college dropout hip-hop blog rap. If you like really mediocre hiphop it’s a blast.

Album isn’t out til the 21at. Get your facts straight Stereogum.

Don’t want to get too ahead of myself, but Kanye is probably going to perform new material during his appearance. And with rumors of his first single being a collaboration with Daft Punk, who have been doing much of their promotion for their album during SNL which drops a handful of days after the finale, it can’t be too far fetched to hope for a live performance from the two, would it? It helps that the last and only time Daft Punk performed on live American television, it was with Kanye at the Grammys. That would be a pretty spectacular bit for SNL, Kanye, DP, and the fans.

Powerful music

-1Posted on Apr 4th | re: Joey Bada$$ - "Day In The Life" (Prod. Harry Fraud) (4 comments)

Joey Badass has yet to convince me he’s anything special. Sounds like he’s trying to do his best Nas impression on every song, but misses the fact that Nas made it all sound so effortless.

Oh I gotcha, yeah I kinda misread what you were saying and jumped ahead to posting before I read over the whole article. Union hasn’t changed at all from when were here.

I feel like the semester thing has been harder on the teachers than the students. The lack of huge break didn’t seem to throw people off as much as having spring break in the middle of a semester did. Coming back and still being in the same classes just did not seem right at all.

Finishing up at OU this semester….but most of the “indie” kids hangout at Casa or Jackie O’s now. The Union will still get bigger shows and crowds when an established band comes through town, but on your average night the indie scene is found at the other two places.

I appreciated the review of the album earlier, and agreed with the points, but don’t understand the point of further attacking the song/album/Tyler here in the video post.

Seems a little Tyler-ish to me.

Should have reviewed another Gucci tape, Bamz is a boring weed carrier.

Still shoulda picked Trap Back. There can never be too many words spilt over the genius that is Gucci Mane.

After a handful of listens I feel like this kinda sucks.

Yeah, but it leaked last week

Hey Tom, that’s not 40 in the Started From the Bottom skit, it’s OB O’Brien.

I’m not the biggest Meyhem fan, but this is kinda funny. That Free Energy review was all sorts of fucked up. I’d compare Ian Cohen to someone like Armond White, but at least White is funny/probably believes his reviews, Cohen is just bitch made.

But I’ll admit I enjoyed the write-ups

Do you realize you made a terrible list?

There’s a lot of mediocre stuff on this list that an Angel Haze project (or two) and GrandeMarshall’s 800 could have easily replaced.

That Big Krit album was some doodoo butter too.

Hey Tom, that’s not Keef on the intro, it’s a sample of this Youtube video:

Breh, Call Me Maybe came out this year.

I prefer Channel Orange by a long shot. I hate those skits on GKMC, think the last song is extremely mediocre, and just found the back end of it to drag with repeated listens.

Frodo fucked Tom’s bitch.
