This sounds a lot like Rostam’s Discovery project of a few years ago…meaning that I like it quite a bit.
Meh. I really preferred their stuff from Beets Me. I was hoping for something more similar to “Killer Tofu” or “Shout Your Lungs Out.”
Going to toss this out: Hurts Like Heaven and Charlie Brown are two of the best things that Coldplay has ever done.
I’m quite partial to “Nørgaard” by The Vaccines.
Waiting for Kirsten is basically everything you want from a Jens song–beautifully orchestrated, a great melody, and a truly hilarious story. I don’t always laugh out loud when listening to a song, but when I do, it’s usually by Jens Lekman.
