I understand what you’re saying but this year The Strokes, Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, and Coldplay all released records that they used tape to record so I don’t think the Foo Fighters being a hugely popular band is an excuse for them to brag about using tape. Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Beyonce don’t use tape because they make dance/pop music which has to be lined up perfectly.

Its really annoying how he keeps making it seem like a big feat that they recorded to analog tape, So many popular bands still make their records on tape they just don’t make a big deal about it like Dave has.

I’d start a Neon Indian cover band called Neon Indian but in quotes
