a little after nevermind came out, a friend was telling me how much he liked it. he said he really liked the song “come as you are.” i was thinking of the peter wolf song with the same name, and said “oh, that’s a nirvana song? i like that one.” i was confused how the same band that played smells like teen spirit could have played that song, but figured he knew what he was talking about.
