I also love Sufjan Stevens, Grizzly Bear, The National, and Fleet Foxes (I have yet to give Bon Iver a fair listen).

P.S. FUCK YOU, metal doesn’t need more hipsters you close-minded little shit. But if you ever want to try some….listen to Opeth, Enslaved, Les Discrets, Alcest, Burzum, Carcass, Death, Black Sabbath, and Morbid Angel.

February 13, 2011 on NME’s 50 Druggiest Albums Ever

Alright this list is total bull shit. Where are the drug-dedicated albums by drug-dedicated bands? I can list a bunch off of bands the top of my head–in the metal genre alone! Bongripper, Bongzilla, Sleep, Cephalic Carnage, Weedeater, Down, Electric Wizard, Choking Victim, Leftover Crack, etc etc. Though admittedly those last two are punk/ska and pretty much the same band. Making a point here. The list sucks dick.
