Lollapalooza has always been a mix-mash of an array of music. (Maybe Perry uses a hat and pulls out names) But in any case, he tries to please everyone’s musical needs so he could sell tickets. It seems that every year they talk about ticket sales are down, and they’re going to cancel, but then WALLA, Depeche Mode is now headlining! But ever since the first Lollapalooza, it was always diverse. They had NIN and Ice T for crying outloud! And one year, it was opened up by a buch of chanting Tibetan monks! But I digress. I want to go!
OK!!!!I love your profile pic, Grover!
You are my man…ur woman? LOL! I love them!
That is super cool! If there’s a stupid cowboy playing nude wif his guitar in Time Square, why not two talented cuties? What’s the difference? Oh yeah…they actually have TALENT! I always wanted to do that! Except for the walking in front of a bus, not cool.
I do, I’m 30! Hollar!
That’s cool you’re helping us vinyl fanatics continue our addiction by opening up more stores! Good luck to you and Boston! I can’t wait to visit there and check out the scene.
As a teen, the thrift stores and garage sales were the only access to find records, and I still recollect how exciting it was to find some of my favorite treasures! Then once I grew a little older, and found some kick ass record stores nearby, I was saddened by the short expiration date on their business. Now I have to travel far into the city to find stores like these. You are sooo right on about it like going to church and school! Its a very spiritual and meditational experience, getting lost in the array of music, and jumping for joy inside yourself when you find your personnal vinyl holy grail! We need places like these to stay in existance! They’re so cool.
I really need to proof read these sometimes.
By the way, Iha’s new album came out incidentally a few days later, but I never heard much about it.
That’s funny! I saw James Iha at Reckless Records over in Lakeview! But know one was interviewing him. I wonder which store Darcy and Jimmy were at!
Ooops! I forgot! I’ll just support them every weekend as always, better than one freaking day!
What an ASSFACE! Of course his music would be innappropiate for any decent movie because of his screeching whiney ass voice would ruin any good dialogue! The music for Royal Tennenbaums matches up perfect for the mood and actions of the movie! And WTF is he thinking about the cancerous name he chose for himself, Mr. Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy????? Please!
I love this! Thought it was out of a movie, like Saw or something. Makes me curious what the original story line was and if there was any more clips they couldn’t fit in the video. DM still has it, and I’m glad to see they didn’t just slap an album together half-ass for the hell of it like so many other bands that have survived for this long!
Purrrrrrrrr!
Hmmm. Never would imagine them reserecting an Adam Ant tune.
Never heard the Spear’s original, and never will! This song seems way too long and drawn out.
How can this be classified as pop?!? This song is a huge orgasismic explosion of sex, rock, and fury!
I was a sucker when I saw one of their videos for the first time! This chick is a DUDE! I love him, love them all.
She’s always had that smokey blues sex appeal of a voice. I always loved her cover of “After Your Gone”, but this one is my new favorite! Thank you for sharing!
Makes me smile everytime I hear it! Just saw them live, fun as hell to hang out with as well! Nice to see Telekinesis is going places! Thank you Chris Walla as well!
What a kick ass dress!
Well now, Mr. Tilla, what does your cock say?
Hmmmm…Animal Collective does everything bettah!
Why??? This song is lacking something. Oh yeah, TALENT!
HAHAHA! I concur.

I love it. The song is so peaceful and solemn, the colors are sad, very simple animation, doesn’t distract the point. I love the bird at the end, saving it means saving the simplicity of music. Isn’t it the birds who share their beautiful song to the wolrd, no words needed, we all connect and bond by admiring its beauty, inspired to create our own?
