Oh man, that picture really takes me back.
Only partially. The part I’m still curious about are the caves. Does Google have Cave View now or was that the part missing?
The same thing happened to me originally so I put in a more business-y address and it more or less worked. Although it wasn’t my house…and it was just office buildings. Places where I didn’t grow up. All things considered, I’m listening to the Suburbs right now so the video worked. Good work Suburbs!
Well that was cool. It felt like the video was personalized directly for me.
I get so uncontrollably turned-on by the Dirty Projectors. Gotta love behind-the-scenes-fun-clips-on-video-youtube.
I hope Sofia Coppola was the director.
I don’t get it.
Digging this a whole lot more than most of the stuff on their first album. It really grooves along well and I like the dirt of it all. Booyah Dead Weatheryea.
That was awesome.
man they groove good. love the gravel, keeps me driving.
more of the same YES
Guys guys guys. This album is happening. The album’s title just confirms it. This album is definitely happening guys. Guys.
Well this moody as a pine cone song really meshes up with the shit storm of rain that’s pouring outside my window. Thanks for the tune.
Well now, looks like Julian Casablancas is *stroking* his band for as much money as he can!
On another note, I hope the new album doesn’t sound like the previous one. Give me variation or give me death! To hell with monotony.
That was really pretty. A very good cover in my opinion.
That was so pretty.
Imma have to agree wit u right there.
love love love love
I like Broken Bells plenty but their album leaves me wanting a little more. I wrote a way too long review on my site (linked through my username). To break down what I said there: 1. The album is great. 2. The album could have been better due to the talents involved, namely Mercer and Danger Mouse. 3. It’s being released in Spring when it feels more like a winter album. I go into greater depth in my review but there’s the tl;dr version.
These guys force-fed me with love tonight. I’d call them the Loving Spoon[ful] but then I’d be forked up.
I really like this album as well. It works awesomely as an album and there are tracks that can stand by themselves as well. You have to listen to it completely through at least once to understand what they were aiming for. And they it it…oh did they hit it.
I like it. I find their music has a consistant habit of slipping into the background of whatever I’m doing. It makes for great background music but I wish I was able to concentrate more fully on what they’re doing.
So I like carnivals as much as they next person but I think this merry-go-round made me kind of sick. On another note…if you check out the other videos on Foundtrack’s youtube site…well they’re kinda awesome. Really digging the sound. And the quality videos don’t hurt too much.
This video fits the band’s personality much better. Definitely a win over the previous video.
