Don’t forget Odd Future vs. Listenability!

Hoow hilarious was Bon Jovi’s entrance?

…Did he just marry a balloon?

:) :) :) :)

I was kind of like, “Oh, I can be content with this as just radio friendly what-I’ve-come-to-expected-as-less-than-quality Weezer” until about the 4th time I had to suffer through the chorus.

Wait, was he on the Twilight soundtrack?

 0Posted on Sep 18th, 2009 | re: New Julian Casablancas - "11th Dimension" (90 comments)

Not bad. It’s got that tingey of trance-y Strokes and it’s really just nice to hear his voice again.

Yeah, this is awesome, keep up the good work PJ. Never seen so many people cheer through an ENTIRE song though lol.

I was really hoping for a Coldplay cover.

Do you guys just lie awake at night and think of ways to link these articles to your other articles?

This looks like the intro to a Bond movie…

haha true, although decidedly better than his national guard song

 0Posted on Dec 11th, 2008 | re: SPIN's Top 40 Albums of '08 (95 comments)

The simple fact that Black Kids is above the Raconteurs invalidates this list.

a – Satriani’s such a douchebag that he should lose anyway. b – It sounds like they raised the pitch of Viva La Vida in the video a little bit, I can’t tell.

I like his Tyson Ritter haircut.

Slightly. But whatever, that was awesome.

Some of these tracks are pretty sweet and will at least make some of the more painful new tracks hurt less…

 0Posted on Nov 12th, 2008 | re: New Beck Video - "Youthless" (6 comments)

How could you be so youthless?

 0Posted on Nov 12th, 2008 | re: Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers Of All Time (617 comments)

Yeah, I have to echo the Vedder sentiment. Aside from just his whole ridiculous awesomeness, he spawned a whole generation of shitty alt-rock imitators. Not many singers today are trying to be Axl Rose, but everyone wants to be Eddie Vedder.

That’s the funniest joke you’ve had in a while, Stereogum. Way to go.

0Posted on Nov 8th, 2008 | re: New Kanye West Video - "Heartless" (14 comments)

Is this supposed to look like that Adam Sandler movie about Hannukah?

0Posted on Oct 28th, 2008 | re: Led Zeppelin Looking To Tour Without Robert Plant (10 comments)

Chris Cornell? Oh wait, he’s stuck in 1973, right?

 0Posted on Oct 22nd, 2008 | re: New Guns N' Roses - "Chinese Democracy" (85 comments)

It sounds like they’re playing two shitty songs at once.

0Posted on Oct 17th, 2008 | re: Ra Ra Riot Take "Can You Tell" To Letterman (28 comments)

just saw them in DC, they were pretty tight live, both in the vernacular and instrumentally :P
