It’s HIS music. If he wants to defend himself and his music, let him do so. You don’t have to be so nasty.

Hell yes, sister. Also, why is everyone yelling at the poor guy? Go bitch at people on Brooklyn Vegan, chumps.

Considering these posts go up as fast as they do, I can understand a bit of error. No one is perfect. I’m sure you use perfect grammar always and never make any mistakes.

While Cut Copy only got to play 4-5 songs, I feel like the people who did get to see them were pretty pumped.

“Jarvis Cocker? Didn’t want to play Pulp songs, so he played Jarvis Cocker songs.”

Man, I wouldn’t give a shit if Jarvis got on stage and sang like, John Mayer songs or some shit. Jarvis is the MAN.

Now its in Chamblee, GA. Never been to it but I always see the sign for the exit when I go to Atlanta…maybe some day I’ll make the effort and check it out.

Hey, I don’t know if anyone has noticed, but this video kinda looks like a Wes Anderson movie!

I get get behind Wuxtry more for vinyl than School Kids, I like both record stores though…I think Wuxtry has the edge for me though for stuff that is a bit harder to find. Low Yo Yo Stuff was what was up though…Too bad it’s gone.

Soundgarden in Baltimore has a terrible vinyl selection. It has a good selection on CDs and stuff, but they don’t have tons of rare stuff. Joe’s Record Emporium in Towson was bad ass, RIP. Baltimore has a few niche record stores like True Vine and Reptilian though that are pretty cool.

I’m going to throw this out there and say that I actually like Vampire Weekend. I am by no means obsessed or raving about them, but I think they’re good. If you ignore the hype bullshit and just think of them being a fucking band, it’s a good pop record. I don’t understand why it matters so much to so many people that they’re upper class white kids or like grammar. The video is whatever, it’s alright.

I think it has to do a lot with the city you live in. I live in a small college/music town where most of the “hipsters” work in the service industry, and they tip a lot better than the sorority/fraternity crowds. Those kids typically don’t work and aren’t spending their own money. They’re spending their parents money, and don’t really understand that people pay their rent with tips. I work at two venues in town and I can tell you, the hipster kids here, most of them anyway, treat bartenders well. The whole Frat/Sorority girl crowd are usually they rudest and fucking destroy the club. Nasty.
