Animal Collective Visual Album Duh!
People are appreciating this, they’re just too busy listening to it or commenting on some AC forum to care to comment.
Sorry but no. This albums pretty good though. Sometimes the synths can get crowded and the arrangements feel a little cluttered. But it’s definitely a solid album and much better than Little Joy
Now they need to release a list of the best bands of the decade. I know what the first two would be. 1.) Radiohead 2.) Animal Collective
Does everyone think that Funeral deserves to be #2? I mean I like that album a lot, but it doesn’t sound like the second best album of the decade to me. It actually sounds a little lackluster to me after all these listens.
Anyone listening to this? I really didn’t like the third song.. maybe it’s a grower.
I do like it for it’s context. Reminds me of John Lennon’s ‘Real Love’

panda bear makes great melodies and sings great on the albums but sounds not so good live. Avey Tare on the other hand is a better writer and a great live singer.
This is really great.. and I’m only on temecula sunrise. That drumming blows my mind.
