Did anyone expect Animal Collective in any other spot? That one is getting tired. Pitchfork has created a beast in AC, the band you are “supposed to” love. Decent album but far from the best of 2009.
Wow! That list sucks! The only deserving bands on this list are Mastodon, Animal Collective and Grizzly Bear.

I think the band is on a bit of a resurgence lately. They hit a valley and now they are peaking again.
This album has put Yeah Yeah Yeahs in a completely different light for me. I respect them. They’ve redeemed themselves after a couple of shitty, shitty albums.

I totally agree with you. Just belt it out Bob! That’s the best thing about his voice. Oh, the Sugar days were a treat. Copper Blue is such a classic album.
The video didn’t work for me. I’m actually enjoying 200 Million Thousand. It’s a good garage rock album.
