Fair enough; you guys have been doing PE pretty consistently for over three years, so it’s very likely I haven’t read a good number of them, positive and negative.
I think this is the first ever Premature Evaluation I’ve read that expresses mostly negative sentiment.
Clipd Beaks’ Death+ remix actually DID make the cut, sort of –it’s on the bonus disc.
Yes, let’s complain about this all over again. Just look at all those artists on the New Moon soundtrack who blew up following their contribution. I can’t go anywhere without seeing Justin Vernon’s face on a billboard anymore.
Especially “Pow Pow”, which has a sort of Houses in Motion/Seen and Not Seen vibe to it.
I’m really digging the change — it’s a huge upgrade! The grey/white is a bit bland, but anything is better than the “theme” schemes that popped up from time-to-time on the old iteration. I understand you gotta do whatcha gotta do to stay profitable, Scott, but please spare us the obnoxious full page advertisements in 2010 and beyond.
The message NOT brought to you by: Coca Cola and movies starring Michael Cera
He should perform wearing a mask and in a silly voice so people are like, “Thom Yorke????”.
Correct me if I’m wrong — my memory is a bit hazy/lazy — but I think Ted Leo is incorrect: the opening scene to Inglourious Basterds isn’t a TGtBatU homage, it’s a homage to Once Upon a Time in the West.
But since Ted Leo is a nice guy, I’ll concede to it being a general homage to Leone, which is probably most accurate anyway.
Playable browser version of Contra 3 mod, The Corduroy Pants War.
Nice to see some appreciation for “You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away”.
Revolution 9 isn’t even the worst song on the White Album. That dubious honor belongs to “Honey Pie”, another glaring omission.
I think you meant to say “Paul McCartney”.
Jane’s Addicition, The Killers, or go home after the Band of Horses set? Not a tough decision at all.

I second this. Great band.
