Thank you. "NO MOAR KIDZ??" Yeah these guys wrote time to pretend and kids back in 2005, maybe even earlier. Who would have thought?! They've progressed as musicians and moved on to different ideas?! NO WAY! You want a band that makes the same song over and over? Mumford & Sons is waiting for you... This album is some of MGMT's best work yet. So textural and heavy. I love it.

Gold Panda anyone? Any Le Loup fans out there? Both of these artists are about due for an album.

Heres my top 10. I've never really been into rap/hip-hop so I don't expect many of you to enjoy this list. And yes, Centipede Hz may not have been that great relative to Animal Collective's own discography, but I still think they released one of the best albums of 2012. 1. Dirty Projectors - Swing Lo Magellan 2. Animal Collective - Centipede Hz 3. Tame Impala - Lonerism 4. Flying Lotus - Until The Quiet Comes 5. Goat - World Music 6. Dan Deacon - America 7. Alt-J - An Awesome Wave 8. Grimes - Visions 9. Crystal Castles - III 10. Micachu & The Shapes - Never Honorable Mentions (In no particular order) Actress - R.I.P. Ahnuu - Pro Habitat Django Django - Django Django Japandroids - Celebration Rock Grizzly Bear - Shields Passion Pit - Gossamer Ty Segall - All Albums (Hair if I HAD to choose one)
