yes they have no familiarity to haiti (in haiti), or death (in all of funerals), or confused spirituality (in neon bible). Pauramon – you’ve hit the nail on the head, Arcade fire writes uninspired “faux-spiritual” music not at all related to their personal lives.
They take common themes, write beautifully constructed songs and use metaphors to express themselves. I don’t see anything wrong in that.
