I’m sure Sir Trent Reznor is writing a complaint letter about Bowie’s Low not being # 1.

This feature points out just how a band like the Beatles were able to release 11 solid albums in under 10 years. But I’m sure that’s another feature all in itself.

I haven’t read Entertainment Weekly in a while. Which reminds me… I should make a dentist appointment soon.

First REM break up and now this? R.I.P. College Rock 1980-2011 ?

I was one of those fans who got into REM by listening to Monster, Automatic For The People and New Adventures In Hi-Fi as a 90s teenager. It wasn’t until later that I discovered their classic back catalogue (IRS years). REM always remained true with each release, Reveal and Collapse Into Now are underrated REM albums. Can’t wait to hear Stipe’s solo LP which I’m sure is inevitable. Happy trails REM… happy trails.

MTV’s golden years were between 1990 and 1999. We were lucky to have witnessed rock n roll’s last dying breath with ‘grunge’. Which actually was right before the internet came along and wiped it all away. MTV should stop calling itself “Music Television”. It’s an insult to all true music fans around the planet.

I don’t know if anyone here has tried this but… listen to this song with the volume up as loud as you can.

I actually enjoyed this. Not as catchy as “dead beat summer” but good enough to ear repeated listens while chillin’ on a sunday afternoon.

Is it me or is everyone jumping on the Bon Iver bandwagon all of the sudden? Come on! give it some time, let the album sink in!! It was just released today!

It all reminds me of last december when everyone named Kanye West’s MBDTF the best album of the year only weeks after it’s release. SHEEESH! !!

You’re not a total nerd. A Thom Yorke groupie, yes. But not a total nerd.

It’s just Coldplay being Coldplay, that’s all.

Dollars & Cents is among my favorite RH songs of all time. And for that and that alone, I will forever cherish this 10-year old album.

This is Liam’s too-obvious orchestrated plan at free publicity ahead of his new release. We know deep inside he’s just another Radiohead-fan like the rest of us. Look Liam, if you ask nicely we just might buy your new album.
