When he came through OKC in 2006, Saul Williams was his opener. The crowd wasn't that into him, but the end result was Niggy Tardust, so ultimately worth it for Saul hopefully.

The stuff I've been reading is that Gaga is uncredited on it, which isn't mutually exclusive with having Anna Wise on there (and Tom seems to confirm that it's her above).

Re: Seattle’s rap landscape It will not surprise you to find that Seattle has a good set of backpack rappers (although obviously how you feel about backpack rap in the first place is a separate question) but if you're interested, check out Macklemore, Blue Scholars, and Common Market. Other than a certain degree of cleverness though, there doesn't seem to be a ton of overlap with their work and Nacho's work. Also, I'd like to add that I enjoy this series and hope that Stereogum keeps it going.
