Seriously underrated comment. Brava, miss. Brava!
oh, whoops, I thought we were captioning the screengrab of Cameron Diaz begging for a caption.
please please please please pleeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaseeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought the same thing! I was sure that would tip Walt off and then he'd pull some crazy, brilliant trick that would keep him out of trouble.
Ooooh, Gabe had a girlfriend!
And because I'm already getting emotional (oh fuck), here's a bit of an overshare: My childhood best friend was wildly in love with Orlando Bloom. After the LOTR films, she watched everything he was ever in and bought all of his movies. She loved Elizabethtown and talked about it so much that one day I decided to watch it with her. It was the end of high school and we were sort of drifting apart because how long can a kindergarten friendship really be expected to last? So, by the time we watched Elizabethtown together, I was treading really lightly on her feelings because I just wasn't that comfortable around her anymore. So, we watched it and I was shocked at how terrible it was. So shocked that after it finished and she asked what I thought of it I said it was horrible and I hated it. Said that even though I knew it held a special place in her heart. Couldn't hold it in. And I couldn't stop talking about how bad it was. And my vitriol and hate for it made her laugh and then we both laughed about that and then a few months later before we left for college, we watched it together again and it became a new sort of pillar in our friendship. And and and...I don't know, it feels so incredibly special and personal to know that this is it. This is the WMOAT. (because it's all about me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) It's also so bittersweet knowing that we've reached the conclusion. Man oh man. TL;DR - the beginning makes it sound like my friend is dead but actually r.i.p gabe and this is actually a pretty self-centered comment but idk i just really love what you've done with the place, gabe! I like it here. thanks.
Actually, the more I think about it, I think Don just remembered that he and Ted are not equals and it's not wise to treat him as such.
He found out Ted wasn't even creative enough to come up with a convincing cover for why he and his junior were out together, alone, after hours.
Oh, I thought it was wonderful! Shooting Ken in the face, ignoring him, then using the answer to the "wtf happened there" question as just a way to move the plot/careers of Pete and Bob was a really great way to emphasize how out of control Ken's life is and how irrelevant he is to the office now. Remember when Ken called the shots? Remember when Ken a had "work" and his "real life"?
This is gross, but I had this weird thing happen at lunch today where there were little bugs all over, well, not all over, but definitely in my food (#organic) (I was eating outside) (but, also, idk? where did they come from?!) So, I dramatically threw my food away, container and all, lit the trash can that contained the food on fire, rinsed my mouth out with gasoline then came back in to work. Basically, what I'm saying is, this thread is really helping me! I'm going to go order whatever you guys had. thx
I don't like eating eggs that look like tampons. Too literal.
Madeline Albright
(Gloria Steinem is still alive, dude)
You know how the Pulitzer committee doesn't always award a Pulitzer prize in every category every year? Maybe the Oscars should try that.
I actually liked this and forwarded it to at least one friend. But while watching it I thought to myself "ugh, she seems Christian" so ... yeah, I'm a garbage person.
