While I think the last few years Sasquatch might have had the edge, this year Coachella blows this lineup out of the water.
I don't know, I saw them the other month ago for the second time and I thought they were pretty boring live. They just kind of mope around onstage. Love their music though!
This lineup is ridiculously awesome. Sunday is a bit weak but oh well. April can't come soon enough!
This list needs Xray Eyeballs' "Crystal" video. That's one great bathtub scene!
Is it just me or does Pumped Up Kicks sound a lot like Papercuts' Future Primitive?
I agree, that video is horrible. They couldn't have come up with anything better than a "clowning around" video? It's like an modern day LA version of The Monkees. I have to go with Washed Out. Cults' "Go Outside" was SO 2010...
Blown away I haven't heard A.A. Bondy yet?? If he doesn't count as "band" I'll go with his earlier band Vernbena
Johnny Marr also came out with his own ltd edition PF Flyers a couple years ago. I snagged a pair and have only worn them once I think... http://www.sneakerfreaker.com/sneaker-releases/Pf-Flyers-X-Johnny-Marr/
Can we please get rid of the using the word "meh" to describe things. So freakin' annoying. Is it too much effort for you to try using a full sentence with adjectives like an adult?
While they share some similar bands, I'm still liking Coachella's lineup WAY better. Plus you aren't out in the middle on BFE...
I pray you are joking, especially with the text type abbreviations... $200 dollars for Emminem, Rage, and/or Lupe? Do yourself a favour and check out Pitchfork Festival and discover some good music.
"We Used To Wait" was especially bad and a poor song to select. The performance seemed contrived...
Holy guacamole I stayed home and watched it on TV and was completely underwhelmed. Sound was awful, not sure if it was the usual par for SNL or Arcade Fire. I haven't caught them on the new LP tour but having seen them during the Funeral and Neon Bible tours I was severely disappointed!
