I'd never heard that 14 year old thing. On a whim, I just looked it up "Fantasy" by Mariah Carey. Good song! Looked up my wife's. "Dreamlover" by Mariah Carey. Does this mean we were destined for each other?
Redman also has by far the best MTV's Cribs episode.
It's a shame "It's Raining Men" didn't reach the top 10, because it's a 10.
Here's the Chappelle's Show sketch with John Mayer where Dave tries to find out what gets white people to dance, and John gets Dave out of a ticket by playing "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" for the cops. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ahhvmzr_pZo
"I Keep Forgettin'" is an 8 or a 9, but I'm not sure how much of that is due to "Regulate." This one's a note. A 5 is generous.
The AV Club's Undercover series, despite some really good ones, was more misses than hits. But it was always a treat when GWAR would drop by. They always put in the work to do good versions, instead of just tossing something off.
Great song. And there's a restaurant called the West End Grill that I see off the highway sometimes, and my wife *loves* it when I sing it to the tune of West End Girls when we drive by.
Parade is a straight up classic. Especially side 2; "Mountains"/"Do U Lie?"/"Kiss"/"Anotherloverholeinyohead"/"Sometimes It Snows In April" is just an unbeatable stretch of songs.
I think "Skyfall" is pretty good. But that Sam Smith one is the definition of forgettable. How did it go again? Should have used Radiohead's instead.
GoldenEye was the first Bond I saw in theaters. I would have been 8 when The Living Daylights came out, so I was too young then. But my dad and I gorged on the "X days of 007" marathons that TBS would do occasionally. I was 14 when GoldenEye came out, and it was a BIG EVENT for our family to go see it. So I have a major soft spot for that movie.
God, the fact that Max Zorin has an evil blimp headquarters is just so great.
Man, I think A View To A Kill (the movie) is pretty good! I think it's one of the better Moore-era Bond movies. Grace Jones looks so impossibly cool as May Day, and Christopher Walken does his Christopher Walken thing which is just what you want to see.
Yeah, this is one of the better Bond themes to me. I'd give it a 7, maybe even an 8. I might just like Duran Duran more than Tom.
Some Doctor Who fan is going to be disappointed when he gets home with his Cyber Man costume, and it isn't an evil robot. Also, it looks like Green Man has more competition now, from Green Guy.

Aw, I still kind of like the Doors, but not as much as I used to. Still, this sounds like it could be a lost Doors tune. A lot of Al's style parodies hit the mark so well, that you can almost think they're by the original artist.
YouTube might do it quicker, but Al still does it best. This parody is pitch-perfect.
That commercial reminds me of Bijou seductively eating a slice of pizza on 30 Rock last night.
Aw, I'm disappointed. I was expecting this article to be about Joaquin Phoenix launching his rap career on SNL. Still Phoenix is good.
