Ryan Adams played a new song called "My Wrecking Ball" at the Newport Folk Festival yesterday. It'll appear on his self-titled album, which comes out in September. "It's, like, a protest song protesting the death of my grandmother," is how he introduced the song. We've already heard the studio version of "Gimme Something Good" and a live rendition of "Stay With Me." You can also hear a stream of the whole set over on NPR. Watch below.
