Phil Elverum hasn't released an official song from Mount Eerie's upcoming double album Sauna, but that hasn't stopped him from playing new material live. Recently we heard "Dragon" during a performance on Pinball Sessions, and now you can watch him play another new one titled "Emptiness." It's a somber piano-based piece featuring the choice Mount Eerie lyric, "I see you, we are two black holes in a vast night, a van in neutral rolling down a hill unoccupied." No date yet for Sauna, but based on these stripped-down performances, it's definitely something to get excited about. Watch it below, and check out the full sessions here.
