Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice (aka Jenny & Johnny) wrote 11 original songs for the upcoming film, Song One. The movie stars Anne Hathaway and Johnny Flynn, and is set in the modern day Brooklyn folk scene. Flynn plays a singer-songwriter, and Lewis and Rice had to make an album worth of songs that could pass as a cult classic. Seven songs made it into the film, including "Little Yellow Dress" and "Marble Song." You can see Flynn perform both of them in behind-the-scenes footage of the recording process for the film. The Song One soundtrack is out now via Lakeshore Records. The movie itself will be in theaters and on demand on 1/23.
