Halflife is the UK duo of rapper and actor Riz Ahmed and the post-dubstep producer Distance. Ahmed was equally great in Swet Shop Boys, his duo with Heems, and in the movie Nightcrawler, so just about anything he does is, at the very least, worthy of your attention. Halflife's sound is dark and clubby and distinctly UK, and we've posted their tracks "Subtle" and "R.I.P. Me." They just released their debut EP Subtle, and there's one more new track on it: "Empty," which fuses dubstep sonics with drop-D crunch-metal riffage. Check it out below.
