Rustie – “First Mythz”

We hadn't heard much from Rustie since last year's Green Language, but in the past few months, the Glaswegian dance producer has been unleashing some new tracks. Following the neon-streaked maximalism of "Big Catzz" and the tossed-off-but-impressive hospitalization recovery track "160 Hospital Riddim," he's just shared a new song called "First Mythz." (Rustie likes ending song titles with Zs.) It opens with dolphin noises and a gorgeous wash of spacey synths before hurtling into overdrive, ending up as the kind of thing that could conceivably soundtrack a rave in a giant intergalactic racecar made of sugar.
