Next week, the Julie Ruin, the newish band led by punk rock legend and former Bikini Kill/Le Tigre frontwoman Kathleen Hanna, will release the sophomore LP Hit Reset. The new album walks the line between DIY punk ferocity and urgent sugar-rush pop music. It's a big, bright, affirming piece of music, and it's a lot of fun.
