Later this year, the Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez On Me — starring relative-unknown actor Demetrius Shipp, Jr., who looks like an exact clone of Shakur — will come to theaters. We’ve already seen a short glimpse of the movie. But the producers chose today, the 20th anniversary of Shakur’s death, to release the full trailer. (It’s a better way of honoring his death than opening a pop-up café, I guess.) This could just be movie-trailer magic at work, but the movie looks great. It certainly looks like it’ll hit the obligatory music-biopic marks with vigor and conviction, and god knows the man had a life compelling enough for at least one movie. Watch the trailer below.
All Eyez On Me is reportedly coming out in November.
