Run The Jewels stated back in March that a 2016 release for RTJ3 was "achievable." And given El-P's latest update on the album, it seems we can update that status from "achievable" to "likely." As Spin points out, El Producto just tweeted that all the lyrics have been recorded and "the album is almost finished." That's fantastic news! Considering how powerfully 2014's RTJ2 spoke to its moment, RTJ3 will surely have some resonant things to say about the current state of the world. Let's get this baby out there before Election Day.
