Kanye West’s Original Taylor Swift Lyric In “Famous” Was Even Worse

"Famous" might be the best song on Kanye West's 2016 album The Life Of Pablo, it also has the worst lyric: the infamous tabloid-bait "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous." And even if Swift did give her OK for the lyric, that's still a shitty line. But it could've been shittier!

An early version of "Famous" showed up on SoundCloud yesterday; it's since been removed. A few things were different. The track, at one point, had a guest verse from Young Thug, who also sang along with its Nina Simone sample. And that Swift lyric? Instead of addressing America's favorite pristine pop star, it targeted West's ex Amber Rose: "For all my Chi-town niggas that know me best / I feel like Amber Rose still owe me sex / Why? I made that bitch famous / Not really, but somewhat famous."

The "owe me sex" bit is a reference to Young Jeezy's "Put On," where West rapped, "I feel like it's still bitches that owe me sex." Doesn't matter. It's still a nasty, indefensible thing to say about anyone.
