Xiu Xiu are just a few weeks out from the release of their new album FORGET, which follows last year's Twin Peaks soundtrack tribute. Thus far they've shared advance tracks "Wondering" and "Jenny GoGo," and today we get a third single. "Get Up" is a weepy slow-crawl produced by John Congleton, filled with a number of gut-punching moments, like when lead vocalist Jamie Stewart confesses in a quiver that, "You're the only reason I was born," or the low-key synth shredding that takes place towards the end. The song's video was directed by Marty Marquez, and stars Noemi Gonzalez as a confidently aimless spirt. Watch below.
