"ILY2" is a soaring highlight from Charli XCX's recently released mixtape, Number 1 Angel. She co-wrote it with PC Music's Danny L Harle, and he's just given his own spin on the track in what he's calling the "euphoria edit." It smooths out the satisfying digital guitar crunch on the chorus into an airy dance beat, and casts aside Charli's vocals in favor of upbeat chirps. I like the original more, but the revving up that it does in the back half is certainly interesting. Listen to it below.
