BNQT are about to release their debut full-length Volume I, a 10-track effort that finds each member of the indie-rock supergroup taking lead vocals on two songs each. We’ve already heard the singles “Restart,” “Unlikely Force,” and “Real Love,” and today we get to hear one final track in advance. “Mind Of A Man” is led by Fran Healy of the band Travis and is about, in his own words, “how fucking dumb men can be.” A colorful, cloud-like psych-pop gem, the song retains an element of childlike whimsy in its damning distaste of the lesser gender, balancing confectionary keyboards with hurled insults at the “nothing you will find” within the head of a man, delivered from a group of five men.
