Mikal Cronin – “I’ve Got Reason”

Mikal Cronin is releasing a new album, Seeker, at the end of the month, the follow-up to the rocker’s 2015 album MCIII. He’s shared two songs from it so far, “Show Me” and “Shelter,” and today he’s back with a third, “I’ve Got Reason,” a gnarly and bashing track that leans into Cronin’s more chaotic side. “I’ve got reason to believe it’s not like the way it seems,” he yells back against the squall.

“This song runs through a mess of confusing interactions in a world that gets stranger all the time,” Cronin said in a statement. “Musically it’s got some Beatles and some Nirvana, with a bendy mellotron line that helps tie the worlds together.”
