Piebald Announce First New Album In 19 Years Tales For The Rage

Piebald are back. The emo heroes returned last year to release a deluxe edition of their 1999 album If It Weren't For Venetian Blinds, It Would Be Curtains For Us All, and now they're announcing Tales For The Rage, their first new LP in 19 years.

The quick, triumphant anthem "Still On The Couch" is out today. About it, Travis Shettel says, "Even when we are in our own homes, in the comfort of our supposedly personal surroundings, we are being fed propaganda to buy products and ideas that, we are told over and over again, will bring us happiness or freedom. We don't buy it!"

Tales For The Rage was written and recorded between 2019 and 2025. It was tracked at the Den in North Reading, MA with longtime collaborator Doug Batchelder, and produced in part by Jay Maas (Title Fight, Citizen) and mastered by Jack Shirley (Joyce Manor).
