NO MORE DUCK PHONE????
Depressing things can't be funny?
The second episode is much better than the first. Like, it's pie--so good.
"Schwarze Milch der Frühe wir trinken dich nachts wir trinken dich mittags der Tod ist ein Meister aus Deutschland wir trinken dich abends und morgens wir trinken und trinken der Tod ist ein Meister aus Deutschland sein Auge ist blau" -Das Booger Now take me to jail.
Speaking of which, yall should click through to watch the video, so you can turn on the vuvuzela button. Much better.
Hey yall, let's not leave out Rick Barber. He's a crazy idiot wingnut too. Dale Peterson even has a cameo in his latest campaign ad! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kn14RwuJJRg
It really saddens me that a summer in which we are still fighting two wars and an unstoppable hole in the ocean floor is spewing millions of gallons of oil into the sea every day can still be a slow news summer. But I guess entertainment news is its own mostly horrible little world unto itself.
How great would it be if Spencer Pratt cut in line and walked into store like "Where's my iPhone? I'm Spencer Pratt" and the Apple employees were all "Spencer Pratt, of MTV's The Hills? I'm sorry sir, you're going to have to wait in line."
It's not the annoyance with vuvuzelas so much as the intensity of dislike expressed for them, and the many calls for bans, that is at least a little tinged with racism. Personally I think it's important we recognize the small racism too, because it's more pervasive and less obvious.
Hahaha I was just poking fun and looking for an excuse to post Zwarte Piet, because he's the one of my favorite hilarious/horrifying real things. Although now that yall are being so defensive about it, I have to wonder... Also lol at singing > vuvuzelas "It's such a shame these South Africans like something I'm annoyed by, they should do this thing I like instead." Jus sayin... And DS3M, Mexicans don't have racism directed at them? Really? Admitting that something you feel/think/believe may have racist undertones/implications doesn't make you "a racist," or the worst thing in the world. People get so anxious when the subject comes up, it really prevents people from discussing race and racism constructively and taking honest looks at themselves.
lol, "even the Dutch coach." The Dutch can't be racist! Oh, wait.... http://www.themonkeycage.org/sinterklaas.jpg "I have a picture of Geert Wilders in my wallet." -Zwarte Piet
Telling people why you're downvoting them is overt and pretentious.
Damn it, html! Back and forth forever, is what I was getting at.
Argh, you had my basic idea before I did! "Even though I am pretty sure you are not going to make jokes about meeting me on your blog later, I am still actively hoping that you do not make jokes about meeting me on your blog later. Or at the very least, if you do make jokes about meeting me on your blog later, that you make them funny.” -Michael K. Williams
You're still not getting it. Your assumption that the vote itself was legitimate is the ridiculous and hilarious part. As for AnAmPat, duly noted. Though I respectfully disagree.
These guys know what you're talking about: http://cdn.videogum.com/img/thumbnails/photos/starving_children.jpg "Can we eat the Internet?"
Michael Steele is the Andy Kaufman of politics. http://img.wonkette.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/msteele-v2.gif "What up?"
We all love Godsauce, and appreciate that his political beliefs often skew more conservative than the average monster. However, believing that the Alvin Greene thing is all above board is patently ridiculous and deserves ridicule. Sorry man, but in this case Godsauce is the one putting on the tin foil hat, not the other way around.
Also, the fact that he's a black man running for statewide office against Jim DeMint in South Carolina makes it exponentially more LOL/tears.
Your Zoidberg avatar has never been more fitting.
Yeah bro, it's for the Senate. Like Jim DeMint's seat wasn't secure enough already.
That reminds me of this fun little jpeg I saw the other day: http://s-ak.buzzfed.com/static/imagebuzz/web04/2010/6/6/12/facts-of-life-30202-1275843139-60.jpg Pretty much.
Goodbye Lost, we hardly knew ye.
Not to mention Rand Paul.
Meanwhile, coming this fall on Lifetime is "Fencing Farrakhan: The John McCain Story" http://web8.twitpic.com/img/102274012-10dd86f15958eba7b59fd79587ab37ce.4bf2accd-full.jpg
Now you're just showing off
Two things. First of all, "fanatical Islam" is not a "terrorist organization." There are many terrorist organizations who can accurately be referred to as fanatically Islamic, but they're not all working together nor do they have the same ideological features. Second, the "violent cultural conflict that currently threatens to destroy the fabric of contemporary society" is not primarily cultural nor is it a thousand years old. It's almost entirely a product of the 20th century. Anyway, Jay Leno is a terrible person.
Terrorists are still human beings, after all.
Lapidus is still alive, he just got knocked over by the door or whatever. We'll see him again. No body = no deady. Except Sayid is definitely dead even though we didn't see him literally blow up M.I.A. ginger-style, because he is Minority Who Gains Redemption By Sacrificing Himself To Save His (White) Friends In A Ridiculous Scenario.
Please don't recap Jersey Shore Season 2. Let's all just try and forget it even exists, just forget about it.
@hotspur for some reason I can't directly reply to your comment so this will have to do. First of all, "any humorous books or CDs" is a super broad category. South Park experienced limited censorship of this single episode out of 200. Most of this episode aired without alteration, and the majority of South Park episodes have been only mildly censored for language or nudity, and are available uncensored for purchase as DVDs. Hardly an industry-wide collusion to appease critics of comedy in general. The situation you describe would indeed be deeply troubling, because of how impossibly broad it is. Also, the controversy surrounding the censorship made whether images of Muhammad were actually broadcast a moot point. The controversy over the episode pre-airing drew way more news and attention (and probably ratings--$$$) than just airing the episode uncensored and with no warning would have done.
