Ah I was typing my comment forever but the Katniss/Peeta thing is addressed in the book. Actually a lot of your points are addressed in the series, I think, so if you have a week(end?) to spare you could knock them out pretty quickly. And you might still have criticisms after reading, but those points at least are answered.

Everyone in my theater (besides me and my friend) cheered when Clove died, which I thought was ironic. And Rue's death reminded me of Dobby's--you could hear people crying all over the room. I thought it was great. Like catweazle said, it was cool to see the gamemakers at work. I wish we could have seen Katniss's hesitation, I guess, her confusion about her feelings for Peeta, but I don't know how that could have translated to film. But I'll probably see it in the theater again.

RE: The Host: APPARENTLY four of those ethnic faces were, like, fans who won a contest to be in the trailer. So. I really liked this book and it's got a pretty decent cast I think? William Hurt and Frances Fisher and ol' Sorsha.

My favorite bathroom graffiti was a tattoo heart with a banner that said "Dang." I also liked where someone had written "Remember we're all going to die" and someone else wrote "But it's not so terrible." ALSO the one where someone wrote "Mariska Hargitay rocks!"

All my thoughts were about the cute boys in the gifs: 1: Vin Diesel and Paul Walker hugging, bc I used to loooove Fast and Furious. 2: Thomas being so...tender? with his gentleman friend 3: Peeta!
