haha, yes! right on with your paperwork comment, Lindsay.
Unnecessary legal conflict? No THANKS, America. We'll gladly trade our equality for some good ol' fashioned clerical simplicity.
aren't there more aurally-pleasant a cappella versions of this song somewhere? I can't imagine this is the only instance a choir has performed it. yet the show producers choose this shrill ear-bash. because...they hate us?
oh god oh god watch the Pretty Woman video again now that you know this. auuuggh
or this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4BRuqqlMRQ actually the joke is solely in the title.
Lindsay, I really like that meta-shark concept. And it made me curious: does anyone have an example of such a thing, where a serious show became a self-aware show like that?
from the movie site, profiling one of the actors/cinematographer:
"He can?t wait to see the world?s collective jaw drop in suspense when they get a load of his acting and camerawork."
unlike with kittens and puppies, the onus is really on human and monkey babies to impress me with cuteness. generally i am unaffected.
but awwwwwwww
at 0:49 he looks right at me! Did you guys see.
how about Lindsey just starts thisspecificmonkeygum?
I like the kid throwing up the horns at the end.
also, this is way nitpicky, but I find myself distracted by Dr. Dove knocking one plaque monster into another one's pickaxe path to vanquish it. as though he is claiming he somehow turns the plaque in your mouth against itself? i don't know.
maybe you're right...i think i kept combining him with Ryan in my head. To be honest most of my "watching" of this season is done through Gabe's posts, so maybe that is partly why.
Wow, the editing choices. The turning cube/folding page wipes? And the retrospective-slow-motion at 1:37? Gives us time to reminisce on the last minute and a half we've spent with them.
There also seems to be some confusion about whether this took place in Virginia or Maryland.
i remember Gabe writing earlier about something being the moment where :( should have been created, the biggest :( moment of them all. I think this might be the true actualization of WTF?
also a peripheral wtf to all the weirdly-racist callers.
ah...the eternal internet dilemma. how do i not become part of the problem? maybe we should have to vote up a quality video, or donate money to a struggling video artist, or at least plant a tree, for every sexman-or-similar video we watch.
so this guy obviously mastered the near-impossible landing-sequence on the Top Gun game for old school NIntendo. where else does one get that kind of confidence?
also, does anyone else think katie couric here comes off looking sort of...simple? or something.
it's impressive how many actors in Operation Dumbo Drop continued to find work afterwards.
Fun fact: same director as Free Willy? And also in his oeuvre: NASCAR 3D: The IMAX Experience (no italics for that one).
