Edward Norton! and then you find out at the end that Mick Jones was a schizophrenic hallucination of Strummer's the whole time!!
aw. I wish John Bonham was still alive.
only problem with chella is that people will be Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box. I'd rather be Hunting Bears in the Nude. But the closest they're coming to me so far is Arizona, so I have a feeling I'll be left High and Dry. Sometimes it's better to Give Up the Ghost, ya Creep. haha
No Surprises here, my friend, but I Might Be Wrong.
well I take it back. I don't actually think WHAM! guy is malicious or a faggot. and I'm not a fan of redundancy either.
you and your fake irony comments are a couple a' malicious gay faggots.
every october I go around and smash pumpkins to this album.

that makes one of us, BITCH! (sorry I can't shake the Breaking Bad from myself nowadays)
I thought she was gonna sing the Radiohead song...
I upvoted djfreshie's comment, kept mhann24 neutral. I'll be the first to say the new cool thing is to just not get involved. Now watch me get downvoted..
I downvoted you. I'm not a mormon.
No, no no no no no no no no no. Hurry Up, We're Dreaming.
great now I have to clean little blown-up pieces of my mind off my keyboard.
"This song is super cool!" (featuring Big K.R.I.T.)
Jack and Meg kept on going! Come on, stay together for the kids!
He also needs to check out the "senator" video, did stereogum post these on the same day for a reason I wonder?
HATE FUELED REBUTTAL IN ALL CAPS.
It's stupid how good this album is. Still, no song as great as Beachcomber...
music's too mainstream nowadays. So is hurting someone's feelings. I'm just streaming this out of spite.
shhhh if they see this they'll protest your next comment.
freshie, this comment was exquisitely ironic and humorous, like a refreshing blended pink lemonade with a twist of raspberry
all I have to say is I fucking love it. It's David Lynch, after all. Also, top notch article. Whenever someone covers Lynch on Stereogum, good things happen.
it depends... on whether you're saying nickelback should be higher or they should not be on the list at all.
This is a cool feature, but you didn't go with the Whole Love?!
ha I love the scott tenorman episode. "What a little crybaby"
My earliest memory, literally, is of me (maybe 2 or 3 years old), really sick, sitting in my living room in the middle of the night with my parents watching, what they would later explain to me, mtv. And they might tell you otherwise, or they just don't remember like 3-year-old me does, but Smells Like Teen Spirit was definitely on, and I so vaguely remember watching that video. Now it's like, whenever I watch that music video, it brings up this dreamy, David Lynch-ian feeling of deja vu, and I think of this memory. p.s. I was gonna leave a gif of the janitor rocking out, but it didn't work :/
"THIS IS SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!! BUYING TIX NOW!!!!"-- Me if I had money
he brought his b***h, to the waffle hut! haha, mountain girl.
you've got your good things, and I've got mine.
@djfreshie that comment right there needs to be voted up higher. funniest thing I've read on here in a while.
really, it's true. I don't know why everyone is thumbs-ing down you guys. Coldplay is the equivalent to like, a summer blockbuster at the movies. It's made for you to be entertained with catchy hooks and generic lyrics about love and other things people like; it's not there to make you think. Personally, I'd rather listen to something interesting and original that takes time. It's way more rewarding than coldplay.
well, okay. I thought it might have been something new from the xx. but this is fine
