Beach House and Vampire Weekend spring to mind as missing from the list...Vampire Weekend is absolutely recording LP3 right now, Beach House is more hopeful optimism
Completely agree with everything up there. The best way to describe El Camino is to just say it's fucking awesome. No more, no less.
Yo, A Great Big Sled and Don't Shoot Me Santa are BANGERS! Definitely not forgettable. This video/song is nice but I am still just eagerly anticipating LP4. I need another Sam's Town. I NEED it.
That was incredibly queer and I completely loved it. Death Cab just does what they do and they do it well. Best song on the album. It's nice to see Ben Gibbard finally just being really happy.
I think it's pretty fantastic. A lot of people might be turned off because of it's heightened pop/synth sounds as opposed to the raw samplefests that were their mixtapes, but this is easily their best album. Every track has more and more rewards every time you listen. It's pretty much the logical culmniation of everything they've done so far. Still hilarious, but still just fucking great hip hop. Heems said on twitter that his verse on the title track is the best thing he's ever done, and he's right. Best tracks: RELAX Girl MJ Brand New Dance Punjabi Song Selena(SO FUCKING GOOD) The Trick
Was just about to say this. Easily the highlight of the album. So, so good.
If there's any album that deserves this threatment, it was this one. Thanks, Stereogum.
Honestly surprised at how fucking great this album is.
Anyone else experiencing time travel while listening to this? It goes by SO fast. It's baffling. but incredible.
I think it's incredible. I love it. Separator is my favorite track so far. Also, might want to update the post with the official art: http://www.werd.com/img/2009/radiohead_king_of_limbs.jpg
Warren Fu always makes the neatest shit.
Your headline is bad and you should feel bad.
