I always prefered Offset. His "Without Warning" tape with 21 Savage was pure fire.

October 17, 2018 on Quavo Needs To Rethink This Whole Solo-Career Thing
If I were Billboard, I would disqualify both of them. The amount of gimmicks these two have done in the past two weeks is baffling. By leaving so many loopholes open, Billboard is leaving itself open to ridicule and exploitation. You gotta draw a line somewhere. Anyhow, Nicki Minaj is obviously not right in the head.

August 19, 2018 on Nicki Minaj Blames Travis Scott & Spotify After Queen Fails To Debut At #1
I think Travis and Nicki have tried every gimmick in the book to inflate their sales. I'm just surprised Billboard isn't doing more to close the loopholes.

Drake has succeeded in making a more pedestrian and coma inducing album than Views. That's quite an achievement.

December 8, 2017 on Eminem – “Untouchable”
That's a nice old school style performance. But very old, isn't it? Nowadays, everytime I see Beyonce on TV, she's wiggling on a chair or shaking her bare ass to some trap beat. Waste of talent.

December 7, 2017 on Stop Enabling These Dweebs, Beyoncé
I mean, when you put Beyonce on stage with today's pop "stars", she will look and sound above average, even great in some instances. But the moment you go on YouTube and type in Tina Turner, you will realize how mediocre she really is.

December 7, 2017 on Stop Enabling These Dweebs, Beyoncé
Kendrick and Beyonce are clearly trying to outdo each other on who's going to release more bizarre and head-scratching duet. If Beyonce wants to outdo Kendrick's Maroon 5 monstrosity, she needs to jump on the Chainsmokers single next.

The song was massive from the get-go is all I'm saying. Plus, the guy has like 4 songs and the album charting near top of the Billboard. He doesn't strike me as someone who needs YouTube tricks. Either way, "journalists" should ask Billboard for confirmation before spreading conspiracy theories, but I guess page views are more important.

October 18, 2017 on Coming To Terms With The Idea That Post Malone Is Good
"Rockstar" is a global hit that is doing great by all metrics: great sales, great streams, soaring on radio. It's just one of many Post Malone songs charting right now because people feel the guy and his music. Nothing "sketchy" about it.

Very enjoyable listen. Energy, 10 Bands and Know Yourself are pretty great. Preach is gonna be my spring anthem. Really liked 6PM In New York as tape closer too.

February 13, 2015 on Premature Evaluation: Drake If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late
I can't believe I'm saying this, but at this point I'm more excited for Big Sean record than Kanye's. I didn't like the other two singles and this one sounds underwhelming too. His use of auto-tune has gotten progressively worse and it completely ruins it for me. I had to change the channel during his ''Only One'' performance at the Grammys. Please stick to rapping.

I love Kanye. I like some Rihanna singles. Don't care for Paul. But I can't even pretend to like this. And good god, those Rihanna vocals are painful.

January 25, 2015 on Rihanna, Kanye West, & Paul McCartney – “FourFiveSeconds”
''Tuesday'' is somehow listenable (mainly thanks to Drake and good use of auto-tune), but the rest of his album sucks so bad. His singing, or whatever the hell you wanna call it, is so painful, horrendous and torturous... I'd rather listen to an Rebecca Black album.
