Somebody once told me the world was gonna (throw a) roll (at) me.
I was pretty concerned about the upcoming tour after hearing about the lack of TPAB at the Sasquatch show, but this video shows that Kendrick can SLAY the new material live.
Didn't think I'd say this, but this post kind of makes me miss rubberjohnny.

Yo I know I'm a little late to the party on this one, but I feel like Feathering a Nest deserved a mention.
Damn this track bangs.
"Chris Walla left Death Cab? Guess we have to be the new Death Cab."- Colin Meloy 2014
I know it's not really in the canon of their greatest songs, but "New Cannonball Blues" is so much of a jam it could be made by Smuckers.
I think "To Binge" is one of the prettiest songs ever written, but that might just be me.
This band is really polarizing, even among people who like them, so I'm not surprised to see that this list was very different from mine. That being said TEMECULA MUTHAFUCKIN SUNRISE.
I saw B&C open for Coheed a week or two ago. They weren't terrible, but all of their songs were cheesy mid-to-slow tempo rockers. They wore down the audience quickly, and lacked a lot of the excitement audible in other emo revival bands like Great Big Pile of Leaves (whom I love). I'll use this as a segue to something completely different. I feel like Coheed and Cambria have always gotten the short end of the stick with the indie rock community. They make exciting, dynamic, and emotional songs without (usually) resorting to the overindulgent technicality that makes "prog punk" so wildly unlistenable. Aside from Year of the Black Rainbow– which was an inexcusable turd– they've released nothing but innovative, exciting albums with both poppy and heavy jams abounding on each.
If this was Rolling Stone's list, all the albums would be number one. They would also be the number one entry in the lists for every other band.
There hasn't been a lot of love for "Old Soul Song" so I'm gonna throw that down as my third favorite Bright Eyes track behind "Let's not Shit Ourselves" and "Lua." Also I'd have liked to have seen "Light Pollution" or "Arc of Time" on the list.
I still remember the first time I heard "You Got Yr Cherry Bomb"– chills
I mean it's fine. I won't mind listening to it when it comes on. I was expecting something REAALLLY sad after Zooey left him, but given how lame New Girl is, he might actually be cheerier this way.
