i'm excited for a horror movie that seems to have nothing to do with torture porn! scary noises and stuff moving on it's own is great. so much better than a person getting disemboweled with accompanying sticky/wet sound effects. blech.
but yes, this 'audience reaction' is dopey. actually, that same audience reaction will prevent me from seeing it opening night. i hate that 'after-scare chatter' where people need to calm down and talk it out after their annoying high-pitched shrieking.

i had not heard of dubstep (i'm old). but i'm reminded of when i heard daft punk for the first time with the 'Da Funk' dog-head video.

i agree. picture posts don't automatically get upvotes. anyone can teach themselves how to post pics with html. and if you're not good at photoshop, that'll probably make the pic funnier. if anyone has ms paint, you should definitely be posting pictures as that is the greatest image making program of all time.
basically, like KajusX said, you can't just throw in a deformed animal or a tyra-face out of nowhere, if it doesn't work, we don't upvote, if it does work, we upvote. same as with text comments.

i can relate dude. this is the only site i ever comment on and rarely. but even if you do get a comment that gets a ton of downvotes, you'll be :( for two seconds and then get distracted by another link cause it's the internet and who cares?
i've suffered -30's more than once so if i can continue to comment anonymously to a bunch of strangers then so can you.

i too have suffered downvotes from liking kathy griffin. i think she's really funny, even if this clip didn't have a lot of funny. i often don't comment on posts in which my opinion differs from the monsters as i can take only so many downvotes before i e-kill my i-self. so kahdooz to you for braving the storm.
that's a good point. i keep thinking it's our generation's movie cause the book was popular when we were kids. but i guess it belongs to the people who are kids now. lucky bastards.
