Have a great weekend, everybody! I could only participate from the sidelines this week, but really enjoyed everyone's comments. However, I'm pretty sure facetaco's comment, "Your comment’s writing checks your avatar can’t cash!" about the gif movie is my favorite comment of all time. Well done, facetaco. Well done.

Clearly, Christopher Lee needs to stop moonlighting as a hairdresser.
You guys, I love The Voice. I do. I do not watch any other singing competition, but I love this one. I think the judges are so kind to the auditioners. And last week, Blake Shelton "saved" a gay kid by adding him to his team when he was kicked off another judge's team. Blake loved his voice and joked that he was jealous the kid flirted with Adam Levine more than him. Then he hugged him. I cried as I fantasized about all of the middle-of-the-country (generalization) anti-gay folk whose staunch bigotry may have been swayed or at least shaken for a moment because their big, masculine country idol made this gesture. I stand by this.
I'm fortunate to live in a place with boats and otters and wonderful things like that. A couple of weeks ago I was walking on the beach and a mommy otter and her two baby otters were out on a rock in the water. She was cleaning them and it was so stinkin' cute. When she was finished, they swam towards the shore, the preceded to COME OUT OF THE WATER! It was awesome, because they rose from the water onto land the same way they do in those evolution pictures.
I liked the jungle-theme - I thought it was fun. And I made up a fantasy that the musicians were all really happy to do whatever Katy wanted because she's so nice to them. That's how I made it okay for myself.
