I hated it at first. Now, after probably 20 listens and some painful ones at that, I love the crap out of this album
Almost started crying. Definitely brought tears to my eyes. Passionate and heartfelt. This kid is special.
On Pyramids and I have to say, this album is AMAZING. Pure awesome RnB and just great writing.
Not to be mean, but I just can't get into his song you posted. Not that interesting at all. It's like a lot of Indie Pop Rock that is just boring. All sounds the same.
This reminds me a lot like Stevie Wonder (I believe Pitchfork agrees with me). Super just laid back but still badass in all the right ways.
Always like some metal to liven up my playlists!
This is actually insanely cool! Only Dan Deacon would think of such a thing.
My dad brought me up with this album (plus many other great grunge bands and older) and made me the music listener I am today. I will always regard this as my favourite soundtrack, mostly because it is so damn good and reminds me of my childhood. Glad others love it just as much.
Ty can really do no wrong in my book. This album is heavy, dark, and brilliant. Keep it coming!
His name may be awful but damn does he make some sweet beats.
This list is missing "Grown Up" by Danny Brown. For shame.
Passion Pit or Danny Brown. Grown Up is one of the best songs of the year. Just Sayin
What an awesome movie and soundtrack!
What an intense freak out! Just made my day/week/month!
Au is my favourite of the year. Pure genius.
Agreed. A great listen all the way through.
I wasn't sure what to put for my picture. Oh I know they are immensely talented guys. Especially Dave himself and his violinist (that guy wrecks). I just don't like their music whatsoever. I definitely should have thrown that in there before saying what I did. I think the style of music is more what gets me than anything else. I don't know why. I could never get into it.
You, my friend, hit it right on the head. Albums that people like but quit talking about. These are definitely missing, along with The Men, Au, Sleep Party People, and Bro. Stephens.
This album is seriously pure awesome. "The Full Retard" alone makes this album one of the best rap albums of the year.
Worst band in existence. Actually, I take that back. Tied only with John Mayer and Nickelback.
