i hate emo even more now.
This is Liam's too-obvious orchestrated plan at free publicity ahead of his new release. We know deep inside he's just another Radiohead-fan like the rest of us. Look Liam, if you ask nicely we just might buy your new album.
It's 1981 y'all !
Who drinks Coke at a dance club?
I miss the distorted guitar effects from Return To Cookie Mountain but this sounds promising nonetheless. And I'm curious as f**K to know what the new Jane's Addiction will sound like too.
Thom: "They don't have a clue that i'm actually wearing my red pants"
And now the next Arcade Fire album will need to appeal to tweens, soccer moms and the rest of the lame-streamers who didn't know of them prior to yesterday.
This is a Valentine's Day gift from Radiohead to us fans! I LOVE YOU TOO RADIOHEAD!!! !! ! ! !
I was hoping for another nude girl's ass on the cover again. :(
Screamadelica should be number 2. Bitches Brew by Miles Davis should've been number 1 but is no where to be seen. Sad.
Butt-head: "Hey uncle charlie seems like alot of work to me.. Hey uncle charlie I think me and chip are gonna go dance around like a bunch of dorks" Couldn't stop laughing... classic stuff.
Production is top-notch as I thought it would be. So excited for this!!
Whoa! This gets me excited for the new album.
The 33 miners should totally get invited to this.
Someone give that chick a kleenex!
I don't get the point of this Re-review of an album from last year. You guys should review some new indie bands and/or new indie albums released this year instead of wasting our time with all these "now we feel this way about this album reviews..." The Suburbs was good album, not great but just good. Definitely not best album since Funeral, "Month Of May" should've been a B-side and their best song since Funeral was "My Body Is A Cage" from Neon Bible.
Them were some alt-wolves.
End-of-year lists are so... hmm... well... last year. But much respect to this list since they included my favorite album of 2010 on the 4th spot. :D
I know this isn't their official reunion because they'd already done so on Vive Latino last year but Caifanes are playing Coachella!! !
I predict a familiar yet fresh sound this time around. And can you guys believe it's been ten years since Is This it? I suddenly feel old.
"...wonderfully rich and warm sound." My sentiments exactly.
The Roots' How I Got Over was just as good if not better than MBDTF.
Edit: "shed" not "share" (sorry)
I believe Women never broke-up but simply cancelled the rest of their tour after the altercation they had onstage... Anyway, I did share a few tears when I heard the news of Mark Linkous' passing.
edit: "at the Coachella festival in 2011".
I can already see people dancing to this at the in 2011.
So, according to P4k... Girls – Broken Dreams Club EP > The National - High Violet ? ...and... Sleigh Bells – Treats > The Tallest Man On Earth - The Wild Hunt ? SRSLY ? I guess I should be happy P4k didn't include Salem's King Night on their list.

Beach House and Janelle Monae should've been in the top 3 but kudos to SPIN for including Deerhunter anywhere on this list let alone the number 2 spot.
Thanks Alex, I'll take $1500 for "Most predictable end-of-year music list" please...
2010 only had 11 months??
On a related note, is anyone else besides me annoyed by Vampire Weekend's "Holiday" airing every two-seconds on that tv ad? "...Oh god make it stop!"
Good point. Well now let's work out the math shall we? Subscribers pay $20 a month. As an example let's say there's 1,000 subscribers right now, that's 1,000 (subscribers) x $20 = $20,000 x 12 (months) = $240,000 annually Now to the "rare" reissued double split-color vinyl version of the White Stripes’ self-titled first album, $500 each and only 5 available, so that's $500 x 5 = $2,500 Well it only makes sense to keep those subscribers happy. I know there's some overhead cost invested with having people subscribe but demand is naturally high due to the extremely low supply of only having 5 "collectible" records available. Word of advice, don't piss-off your fans Mr White.
New AnCo LP in 2k11 would be nice yes, yes... nice, nice indeed...
This list FAILS for one reason and one reason alone... including Salem's King Night on their list.
With greatest certainty I can say new music written or produced by Jack White will be released in 2011.
On a league of their own. Not even the energizer-bunny...
