Actually in the last episode they showed that Todd has some sort of obsession developing over Lydia... he really wants to please her and get the purity level of the cooks up, that's why he's taken Jesse.
my understanding of the whole thing takes a bit of sorting out as well. my thinking was that walt had saul (huell) lift the ricin off of jesse- he didnt want jesse to have possession of it anymore since he knew gus & mike were involving jesse more, trying to turn him against walt. after gus threatens walt's family, and he finds the money is gone etc he's sitting by the pool spinning that gun, until it points to his lily of the valley plant. he connects that he knows kids sometimes are poisoned by this plant with gus's history of using children, and how that history was the one thing that made jesse so enraged he almost got himself killed over it. he realizes he has a chance to manipulate jesse into uniting with him in taking gus down- he can make jesse think gus poisoned brock in attempt to frame walt. and jesse had to think the poisoning was the ricin otherwise he probably wouldnt connect it to walt, who could convince him it was gus- because gus wants to tear them apart, he uses children, he's framing walt etc.
the only thing i get confused on is when jesse holds walt at gun point in his house later, jesse actually tells walt that he figured out huell had taken the ricin off him in saul's office. i guess walt convinced jesse he was imagining huell pickpocketing him (because then if he did, that would mean saul was stealing it under gus's orders, and then they wouldnt be able to trust saul anymore, right? ahhhhh head explosion)
I just think, the movie exists, and therefore pretty much proves that Shrek is real. Otherwise, why would all these men have created these sections of film that were out of sequence originally and put them together to make one cohesive narrative which tells of Shrek's existence? The evidence is irrefutable!
You're totally right, Joy is not like Elisabeth, who obviously is justified in being famous because she used to host The Look For Less on TLC. And now we are privileged enough to have her be one of the most outspoken neocon antifeminists on network tv!
it is the most abominable fucking writing i have ever seen, and the story is just as bad. i feel very sad that people actually want to read TWILIGHT FANFICTION to feel sexy or something. i guess this is what happens when people pretend that sexuality is some sacred bullshit and not just a normal part of themselves.
It is totally legit to have the opinion that Girls is not a good show, but for as much criticism as she receives for having famous parents and opportunities most of would never have, I feel like no one would care about her connections if she was a man. Her story is the story of every other dude in hollywood, but everyone seems to be pretty okay with privileged men producing shitty quality work.
no one's sexual orientation should matter to the world. but i guess the idea that compels people here is that when celebrities like tom cruise and john travolta appear to go to lengths to hide or deny their sexuality, it seems like they are making a statement that homosexuality is wrong and gross in general, not just on an ashamed personal level. continuing to orchestrate a myth about being straight manly dudes is what they are comfortable with and that is no one's business, but at the same time it kind of continues to back the idea that there is something wrong with being anything other than a big hetero man hunk.
As far as I know Jared Leto is still Jared Leto and NOT Jordan Catalano, and Jordan Catalano doesn't really exist but still totally ruined my expectations for high school so whatever, god.
