The Who

The Who relaunched their Quadrophenia tour last night at the Honda Center. Founding members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend were joined by Simon Townshend on guitars, Zak Starkey on drums, and Pino Palladino on bass to recreate the sonic nuances of Quadrophenia, also offering touching tributes to Keith Moon and John Entwistle. Coachella-bound Vintage Trouble held the coveted opening slot with their high-energy soul-infused rock. Check out the photos in the gallery above and the setlist below.

  1. Saw em in NJ, truly amazing. They still got it! and the drummer for Vintage Trouble was rocking a sick stache

    • I also saw them in New Jersey (maybe we were at the same show), I really was blown away. I mean I’ve always been a huge fan of The Who but I still didn’t expect a show as great as I saw. There were times when Roger and Pete were showing their age in their performances but their energy was so intact, it wasn’t a problem at all. They also have a terrific backing band and a very well put together video presentation to complement them. A week later, I went back to the Prudential Center to see the Rolling Stones. Goes without saying that those were two concerts I will never forget.
