I know that it’s important to foster your child’s interests and to encourage them in whatever path they may want to take without allowing too many of your pre-conceived notions or your generational, foundational baggage to hinder their self-actualization, but also you can let SOME of those pre-concevied notions and generational baggage influence, like, whether or not you allow a 10 year old in glitter sex shorts to do a pounding twerking dance routine.
